Optimization of Fermentation Conditions for High Production of Antimicrobial Substance by Bacillus Mycoides SH-1
Abstract:One strain of Bacillus SH-1 was screened from soil, have been able to produce lots of active antibacterial substance. and was proved through experiment to The strain was identified as Bacillus mycoides SH-1. Through single factor experiment and orthogonal test, the fermentation conditions for Bacillus mycoides SH-1 to produce antibacterial substance was optimized, and the antibacterial activity was tested by Oxford cup method. The best fermentation conditions for Bacillius mycoides SH-1 to produce antibacterial substance was determined as temperature 36 ℃, pH 8, speed 180 r/min, inoculum amount 4%, fermentation time 24 h.
