Absorption and Accumulation of Three Perennial Herbaceous Plants to Lead in Soil
Abstract:Pb is one of the toxic heavy metal elements, and Pb pollutants not only affect microbes, enzyme activity, and physical and chemical properties of soil, but also are harmful to human health through the food chain. Phytoremediation technology is a kind of green economy technology to remove soil heavy metal with hyperaccumulation plants, causing no environmental damage. Through studying the enrichment characteristics of three perennial herbaceous plants (alfalfa, festuca, lolium perenne), the study obtained the sequence of enrichment effect to lead of the three plants in their early period of growth, that is lolium perenne excels alfalfa, and alfalfa excels festuca. The study provides certain theoretical basis for the prevention of Pb pollution and the restoration of Pb polluted soil.
