Research of Pavement Design Parameters of Lime-fly Ash Stabilization Soil Mixed with Steelmaking Slag
Abstract:The modulus of compressive resilience and splitting strength of lime-ash soil mixed with steelmaking slag was studied through laboratory test. The change rule of tensile stress at the bottom of base and subbase was analyzed through Bisar software. When the steelmaking slag averages at 40% in the mixture, this formula had the highest splitting strength. When the steelmaking slag averages at about 70% in the mixture, this formula had the highest modulus of compressive resilience. The tensile stress at the bottom of base declines and the tensile stress at the bottom of subbase increases with steelmaking slag content increase in road pavement design. The mixture which had the highest splitting strength and appropriate modulus of compressive resilience could get better design effect.
