Forest Growth Modeling by Using Matrix Theory
Abstract:The matrix theory has been applied in the forest growth modeling. For a given a sustainable development of forest stand, a linear model shows that a simplified system can be convergent to a stable state which is irrelevant to the original state of the forest under investigation, and the limit state after a long term development is presented. And this conclusion to multiple tree species is also established.
