Interpretation of standard JC/T 698-2025"Gypsum blocks"

Abstract：Gypsum blocks are construction products primarily made from building gypsum and water,produced through process-es such as casting,semi-dry pressing,or extrusion.Over the past decade,changes have occurred in their raw materials and manufac-turing techniques.This article introduces the key revisions in the JC/T 698-2025 standard"Gypsum Blocks",detailing over ten ma-jor technical differences between the new and old standards to facilitate better understanding and application by users.The imple-mentation of this standard will further promote the large-scale and industrialized application of gypsum block products,enhance ar-chitectural decoration,reduce energy consumption and emissions,and improve the quality of construction projects.
