Abstract：The influence of sodium silicate and sodium hydroxide(NaOH)as alkali activators on the physical properties of foamed concrete was studied by testing the apparent density,compressive strength,porosity and XRD patterns of foamed concrete with coal gangue used to replace cement.Experimental results demonstrate that the coal gangue powder can promote hydrogen per-oxide solution to foam better in alkaline environment after replacing part of cement,forming excellent pore structure,and effectively reducing the weight of foam concrete.
