Abstract:Using metakaolin and fly ash as cementitious materials, the influence of multi-walled carbon nanotubes(MWCTNs)content on the compressive strength and frost resistance of alkali activated metakaolin-fly ash based geopolymer concrete was studied. The findings indicate that with the increase of MWCNTs content, the compressive strength of alkali activated metakaolin fly ash based geopolymer concrete first increased and then decreased;Compared with the untreated group, the compressive strength of con-crete increased by 8.0%when the MWCNTs content was 0.12%.The dosage of MWCTNs also has a significant impact on the frost resistance of geopolymer concrete.Compared with the untreated group, when the dosage of MWCTNs is 0.12%,the frost resistance of concrete is significantly improved. However, when excessive dosage is added, the frost resistance improvement is relatively small.Over-all,it is recommended that the dosage of MWCNTs be 0.12%.
