Abstract:In this study,MU30 unburned brick was prepared by using fine sand from Padma River in Bangladesh as aggre-gate,and industrial waste slag powder was activated by alkali activation technology to replace cement. The influence of slag pow-der,fine sand, alkaline activiator dosage and water solid ratio on the compressive strength, water absorption and drying shrinkage were systematically studied by orthogonal experiment. The results show that when the content of slag powder is 70%,the content of fine sand is 30%,the content of alkaline activator is 10%,and the water solid ratio is 0.175,the 28 day compressive strength reaches 35.2 MPa,and the water absorption and drying shrinkage meet the requirements GB/T21144-2023"Solid concrete brick".This technology can provide a feasible technical solution for the resource utilization of fine sand in Bangladesh.
