Abstract:Through multi-scale experimental studies, the influence of cementitious capillary crystalline waterproofing(CCCW)material content on the primary/secondary compressive strength of concrete, the mechanical properties of mortar, and the durability under acid and salt erosion was investigated. The mechanism was characterized using XRD.The results indicate that CCCW signifi-cantly improves the early-age(3 d,7 d)compressive strength of concrete. At a content of CCCW is 0.1%~0.3%,the 3-day compres-sive strength increases by 3.3%~11.9%.The secondary compressive strength recovery rate rise is 0.48 at 28 d curing ages when the content of CCCW is 0.2%,demonstrating excellent self-healing capability for cracks. In corrosive environments,CCCW markedly in-hibits erosion damage to mortar caused by HCl and Na2SO4 solutions.By forming CaMg(CO3)2 crystals that fill pores,it effectively suppresses crack propagation.
