Abstract:To enhance the utilization rate of steel slag in road construction, this study employs a steel slag micro-powder-calci-um carbide slag-cement composite cementitious material(SCCCM)system to investigate its road performance in stabilizing steel slag-gravel base layers. The results indicate that the mechanical properties of the mixture increase with the increase in steel slag replace-ment rate.At a 5%SCCCM dosage, the 90-day compressive strength of the mixture increased by 127.5%~133.9%compared to the 7-day value, demonstrating significant late-stage strength growth characteristics. It was found that the dry shrinkage coefficient decreases with increasing steel slag replacement rate, while the temperature shrinkage coefficient increases with increasing replacement rate, with the smallest temperature shrinkage coefficient observed in the 0~10 ℃ range. When the steel slag replacement rate exceeds 60%,freeze-thaw durability significantly improves, with BDR showing a clear upward trend.
