Abstract:This study carried out against the backdrop of the Guanglv red mud storage yard in Qingzhen,Guiyang, and the high-water goaf of Fuhong Coal Mine, focusing on the preparation of high-content red mud-based filling cementitious materials.Through single-factor experiments, the effects of the addition amounts of triethanolamine, cement, fly ash,and water on the compressive and flexural strengths of the filling materials are investigated.Under the optimized process conditions of 1.0%triethanolamine,14%cement,10%fly ash,and 75%water addition, sodium in the red mud-based filling material forms a dense network structure. The strength of the material continues to increase with the growth of the curing time. After 28 days, the compressive strength reaches 1.05 MPa and the flexural strength reaches 0.84 MPa,meeting the design requirements. The leaching toxicity of the material complies with the Class Ⅳ surface water standard, and its radioactivity classifies it as a Class B material, making it suitable for mine filling. This study provides an effective way for the resource utilization of red mud.
