Advances in sulfate-rich phosphogypsum-slag cement

Abstract：This paper comprehensively reviews the current status of phosphogypsum recycling utilization.It focuses specifically on the hydration reactions and micro-mechanisms of over-sulfated phosphogypsum slag cement(PPSC).A systematic summary of the macro-properties and endineering applicability of the PPSC cementitious system is provided.The main existing challenges and controversies are discussed,with particular emphasis on analyzing the causes of its low eariy-strength and proneness to carbonation,alongside proposed solutions.Furthermore,considering the issues faced by phosphogypsum slag cement concrete(PPSCC)and its products in practical applications,the future development prospects are outlooked.
