Abstract:The experimental study is based on the deviation of the measured linear expansion rate of mortar with different amounts of magnesium-based expansion sources using hyperbolic model, exponential model,Langmuir adsorption function model. The characteristics of the calculation formulas of the three fitting regression prediction models are analyzed, and the accuracy and appli-cability of each function prediction model are finally evaluated. The results showed that when the dosage of magnesium-based ex-pansion source was not higher than 10%,there was a certain deviation between the predicted and measured values of the linear expansion rate of mortar using hyperbolic and exponential models. However,as the dosage of expansion source increased, and the deviation between the predicted and measured values gradually decreased.Compared with the other two models, the Langmuir ad-sorption function model has a better overall agreement between predicted and measured values, with a correlation coefficient consis-tently greater than 0.990,making it more suitable for predicting the linear expansion rate of mortar with magnesium-based expan-sion sources. At the same time,it can be speculated that there is a critical amount of magnesium-based expansion source between 15%and 20%that may cause potential expansion damage.
