Abstract:The effects of standard sand, sea sand, aeolian sand, and river sand as fine aggregates on the workability, mechanical properties, and corrosion resistance of magnesium potassium phosphate cement(MKPC)mortar were investigated. This study investi-gates the strength development trends of magnesium potassium phosphate cement(MKPC)mortar prepared with standard sand,aeo-lian sand, and river sand are relatively similar. The initial 4 h strength reaches approximately 7.63~9.23 MPa,followed by rapid strength growth in later stages, with the 28 d strength ultimately increasing to a maximum of 16.26 MPa.In contrast, while sea sand MKPC mortar demonstrates higher early-stage strength(9.43 MPa),its advantage remains marginal, and its subsequent strength growth lags behind other types, achieving only 11.44 MPa at 28 days.Regarding bond strength, river sand MKPC mortar exhibits optimal performance at 6.79 MPa,whereas sea sand MKPC mortar shows the lowest value of 5.05 MPa.Nevertheless, all mortar types demonstrate excellent bonding properties overall, fully meeting repair requirements.Regarding corrosion resistance, standard sand MKPC mortar shows the poorest performance, whereas aeolian sand MKPC mortar demonstrates the most superior resistance.
