Abstract:A single-component,low-modulus,displacement capacity Level 20 silane-modified polyether sealant was prepared. The study investigated the impact of environmental factors on the sealant's performance, including the effects of curing time on its tensile modulus and elastic recovery rate, environmental temperature and humidity on its surface drying time, storage and construction envi-ronment temperature on its extrudability,as well as its bonding performance after long-term water immersion and fatigue resistance. The results show that for single-component building sealants, data obtained after 14 days of curing under standard environmental conditions can be used as laboratory curing conditions.Compared to humidity,an increase in ambient temperature has a more pro-nounced effect on the sealant's surface drying time.Calculations of the theoretical displacement deformation of prefabricated build-ing PC panels and tests on the sealant's fatigue resistance demonstrate that the sealant can ensure a service life of at least 30 years.
