Abstract:This paper compares the effects of curing agent or cement stabilizing steel slag crushed stone materials based on steel slag-slag-desulfurized gypsum ternary curing agent through unconfined compressive strength, splitting strength, frost resistance, leaching toxicity and other indicators, and then uses microscopic methods such as microhardness and micro-area XRD to illustrate the curing mechanism. Results show that when m(steel slag)∶m(crushed stone)=8∶2,the unconfined compressive strength of 7,28,and 90 d can reach 57.54%,60.21%and 84.56%of that of 5%cement stabilization, and the frost resistance is slightly stronger than that of cement stabilization. The leaching of chromium ions is only 79.58%of that of cement stabilization and 23.20%of that of original steel slag. The wide interfacial transition zone(ITZ)of the ternary curing agent system results in lower initial strength, but the secondary hydration optimizes the structure and ensures good volume stability in the later stage, leading to a significant increase in later strength.
