Abstract:In this study, stone chips and soil were mixed in different proportions to create soil samples with varying fineness, which were then used to prepare flowable solidified soil.Tests were conducted on flow spread, unconfined compressive strength, autogenous shrinkage, and permeability coefficient to investigate the influence of soil particle fineness on the performance of flowable solidified soil. The results indicate that as the proportion of coarse particles increases, the water demand of flowable solidified soil decreases under the same workability conditions, while the unconfined compressive strength improves, autogenous shrinkage reduces, and the anti-permeability performance significantly declines. In the design of the mix proportion for flowable solidified soil,in addition to adjusting the ratio of soil, cementitious materials, and water, active regulation of soil particle fineness(such as adding coarse particles)is an effective technical approach to specifically optimize its workability, mechanical properties, and volume stability. However,it is necessary to evaluate the adverse effects on its impermeability.
