Research on the preparation and performance of C140 white decorative ultra-high performance concrete
GENG Chundong
Abstract:This study investigates the effects of factors such as the composition of cementing materials,sand-to-binder ratio,water-to-binder ratio, and titanium dioxide content on the flowability, whiteness, mechanical properties, and water absorption of C140 white decorative ultra-high-performance concrete, and explores its micro-mechanisms of ultra-high strength using XRD and SEM testing techniques. The results indicate that the suitable proportions of white Portland cement, white silica fume, ultrafine mineral powder, and heavy calcite powder in C140 white decorative ultra-high-performance concrete are 65%,20%,10%,and 5%respectively,with an appropriate sand-to-binder ratio of 1.1,water-to-binder ratio of 0.19,and titanium dioxide content of 2.5%.The prepared materials exhibit a flowability of 290 mm,whiteness of 92%,28 day compressive strength of 155 MPa,and water absorption of 1.2%.In the early stages of hydration,a large amount of hydration products adhere to or intertwine within the C-S-H gel structure and form a unified whole with the heavy calcite powder, providing early strength. In the later stage of hydration, the substantial generation of hydration products from the cementing materials, especially C-S-H gel, significantly increases the density of the cement paste, ensuring later strength.
