Research on rapid testing technology for chloride ion content in construction sand

Abstract:Based on the demand for rapid detection of chloride ion content in construction sand, the influence of key factors such as undisturbed sand sample preparation, ultrasonic dispersion method, whether the dissolved solution is filtered, and the amount of filtrate removed on the chloride ion content testing result were studied.Research has found that compared with the standard silver nitrate titration method(SM method),when using undisturbed sand sampling combined with"ultrasonic dispersion for 10 minutes and intermittent shaking 3 times",the test results are basically consistent, and the dissolution time of chloride ions in the sample is shortened by more than 80%,10 mL of filtrate and unfiltered solution were directly used for titration testing, and the test results were basically consistent with the SM method. It can reduce the reagent consumption and the discharge of hazardous waste liquid, while balancing efficiency and accuracy.Furthermore,a rapid silver nitrate method based on"undisturbed sand sample preparation-ultra-sonic dispersion-micro-titration"was proposed, which shortened the total detection time from 5~6 h to 30~35 min. This method can significantly shortened the testing time for chloride ion content in construction sand, improved testing efficiency, and has significant engineering application value.
