Abstract:This study systematically investigates the effects of three different types of defoaming agents and their dosages on the expansion degree, compressive strength and defoaming effect of ultra-high-performance concrete(UHPC).Image processing and analysis techniques were employed to further explore the regulation of defoaming agents on the total bubble content, bubble spacing coefficient, and pore size distribution in UHPC.The results reveal that within an appropriate dosage range, the introduction of defoaming agents significantly enhances the fluidity and compressive strength of UHPC,while effectively reducing the air content and optimizing the pore distribution. However, when the dosage of defoaming agents exceeds a certain threshold, both the fluidity and compressive strength of UHPC exhibit a declining trend. The addition of defoaming agents can significantly improve the bubble situation in UHPC matrix. The optimal dosages of defoamers XP-Y15,XP-Y19,and XP-Y20 are 0.20%,0.20%,and 0.15%,respectively,and the addition of 0.20%XP-Y15 exhibits the best defoaming and foam suppression effect, with good compatibility with UHPC.
