Abstract:The effects of mica content and adsorption in granite mechanism sand on the rheological properties, mechanical properties and drying shrinkage of mortar were analysed experimentally, and the effect of mineral admixture on the improvement of the rheological properties of mortar of mechanism sand with high mica content was explored. The results showed that the increase of mica content and adsorption amount would lead to the decrease of mortar fluidity, and the use of low mica content stone powder could increase the fluidity by 31.15%at 0.45 water-cement ratio and the same MB value, high mica content(52%mica content in stone powder)mechanism sand mortar showed greater yield stress and plastic viscosity, lower compressive strength and greater dry-ing shrinkage, fly ash and slag powder were able to Fly ash and slag powder can significantly reduce the plastic viscosity and yield stress of the mechanism sand mortar, especially at 0.35 water-cement ratio is more obvious.
