Abstract:Sodium sulfate,as an external admixture, has a positive effect on the hydration reaction of calcium sulfoaluminate cement(CSA),but its mechanism of action has not been systematically and deeply analyzed.Macroscopic mechanical tests and mi-crostructural analyses were conducted to analyze the influence of sodium sulfate content on the properties of the CSA composite system. Results show that the addition of sodium sulfate significantly improves the mechanical properties of the CSA mortar;sodium sulfate accelerates the early hydration reaction of CSA and promotes the formation of hydration products. It is recommended that the optimal dosage of sodium sulfate in CSA be 1.5%,which can effectively improve the comprehensive performance of CSA.
