Preparation and performance study of MDI high-strength single-component polyurethane waterproof coating

Abstract：In this paper,a high-strength one-component polyurethane waterproof coating with good mechanical properties de-veloped by using WHA-208,an latent curing agent produced by our own company,and polyether polyols,MDI,was presented.The effects of polyether polyol ratio,isocyanate content,autogenous curing agent,and filler addition on the film properties were discussed.The single-component polyurethane waterproof coating with the optimal material ratio prepared had a compact and beautiful surface without bubbles,with a tensile strength of 7.9 MPa,a tensile elongation of 552%,a tear strength of 38 N/mm,and a tensile strength superior to that of the same type of single-component polyurethane waterproof coatings.
