Abstract:This study investigates the shear bond performance at the interface between polymer grouting materials and concrete under alkaline conditions. The findings reveal that the bond failure mode is closely related to the density of the polymer grouting material and the immersion duration in sodium hydroxide solution. For specimens with lower polymer density, the failure mode tran-sitions from cohesive failure within the polymer to interfacial failure as the immersion duration increases, while specimens with higher polymer density primarily exhibit failure within the concrete.During the initial stages of immersion, the bond strength at the interface increases with immersion time, reaching a peak around 30 days, and then gradually decreases.By 45 days of immersion, the bond strength falls below the initial value.Based on the experimental results,a predictive model for the uariation of bond strength with density and immersion time was developed.
