Research progress of domestic and foreign standards in the field of building sealants

Abstract：In the realm of building sealants,ISO standards are the most widely used,the ASTM standard system is the most comprehensive,and JIS and DIN standards are on par with ISO.In China,the standards for building sealants align closely with ISO,with an international standard conversion rate of 81%.However,this has not yet reached the average level of the building ma-terials industry and needs further improvement.The building sealants industry in China is an important part of traditional indus-tries.Against the backdrop of the optimization and upgrading of traditional industries,it should align with internationally advanced and comprehensive method standards,achieve a 100%international standard conversion rate as soon as possible,increase the supply of product standards for functional building sealants,actively participate in and take the lead in the development of international standards,and continuously enhance China's influence in the international arena.
