Research on hollow mechanism of interior wall tiling system

Abstract：Based on large wall panels,different tiling systems are constructed,the hollowing rate and bond strength of 12 dif-ferent tiling systems under 28 and 56 cycles of high and low temperature were tested.The results indicate that increasing the thickness of the plaster layer and using waterproof treatment,especially flexible waterproof treatment,can easily lead to an increase in hollowing rate and a decrease in bonding strength of the tiling system under high and low temperature cycles.By using higher performance flexible tile adhesive C2S1 or single-and two-component back adhesive treatment processes,even after 56 cycles of high and low temperature resistance,no obvious hollowing occurred.The two-component back adhesive treatment of the tile back can achieve higher bonding strength.
