Abstract:To achieve the resource utilization of granite stone powder waste, this study examined its effects on concrete durability and long-term performance,as well as the carbon emission reduction benefits of replacing cement with admixtures. Results show that adding an appropriate amount of granite stone powder optimizes concrete pore structure, enhancing impermeability and frost resistance.Compared to the fly ash-only group, the ternary composite group(fly ash, slag, and granite stone powder)achieved a 6.6%reduction in chloride ion diffusion coefficient at 28 days and a mass loss rate of only 1.63%after 300 freeze-thaw cycles. As an inert admixture, granite stone powder reduces early shrinkage by decreasing internal chemical shrinkage but increases long-term shrinkage. At a 20%granite stone powder content, the 180-day shrinkage rate increased by 18.66%compared to the fly ash-only group.Incorporating admixtures significantly reduces concrete carbon emissions, with a 30%cement replacement yielding a 28%reduction in carbon emissions per cubic meter of concrete.
