Abstract:This paper investigated the influences of different lithological fine aggregates and coarse aggregates on the fresh-mixed performance, mechanical strength, autogenous volume deformation and early crack resistance of concrete. The results indicated that the fresh-mixed properties and mechanical strength of concrete prepared with carbonaceous limestone sand as fine aggregate and coarse aggregates of different lithologies were nearly similar. When orthoclase porphyry was used as coarse aggregate, the autogenous volume shrinkage deformation and total cracking area of concrete were the smallest, with a 90d autogenous volume deformation of-57με and a total cracking area of 142 mm2/m2,presenting the best crack resistance. When tuff sand was adopted, the unit water consumption and admixture dosage of concrete for achieving the same slump increased. The 28 d compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, elastic modulus, axial compressive strength reduced by 13.4%,3.2%,16.3%,3.9%,respectively.The autogenous volume shrinkage deformation and total cracking area were the largest, showing the poorest crack resistance.
