The application of self-adhesive three-dimensional protection board in the waterproof protection of underground engineering sidewalls

Abstract：To address the issues of uncontrollable construction quality and inadequate protection effectiveness of traditional sidewall waterproof layer protection materials,this study developed a self-adhesive three-dimensional protection board named"Shell Shield"through the analysis of existing protection measures.The physical and adhesive properties of the board were tested,and its practical application effectiveness in the waterproof protection of underground engineering sidewalls was evaluated.The results indi-cate that,compared to traditional materials,the self-adhesive three-dimensional protection board exhibits higher compressive strength and superior adhesive properties.It is easy to construct,provides non-destructive protection to the waterproof layer,and demonstrates excellent protective effects.This makes it a highly reliable new type of sidewall protection material,suitable for promotion and ap-plication in underground engineering projects.
