Abstract:In order to study the inhibition effect of soluble metal salt on caustic penetration of cement, this paper prepared an aqueous solution of magnesium chloride,an aqueous solution of ethanol,an aqueous solution of aluminum chloride and an ethanol solution, and carried out a brushing test of cement test blocks respectively.Image-pro plus software was used to conduct a quanti-tative analysis of the degree of caustic penetration of cement test blocks. The results show that both magnesium chloride solution and aluminum chloride solution have a good inhibition effect on cement caustic soda. The order of alkaline inhibition effect is:50%aluminum chloride aqueous solution>45%aluminum chloride ethanol solution>30%magnesium chloride ethanol solution>30%magnesium chloride aqueous solution.XRD results show that soluble metal salt can react with cement hydration product calcium hydroxide to form insoluble precipitation, which is adsorbed on the surface of cement particles to form a protective layer to prevent cement hydrated calcium ions from migrating out from the interior, thus inhibiting the caustic phenomenon.
