Abstract:A new type of low-carbon tile adhesive was developed by replacing the traditional cement-based bonding mortar with quicklime+hydrated lime+sodium carbonate activated mineral powder-fly ash gel material. The influence of activator dosage, rubber powder type and dosage, water retaining agent dosage, and water to material ratio on the performance of ceramic tile adhe-sive have been studied. The results indicate that the appropriate dosage of activator is 5%to 7%.The incorporate acrylic-styrene gel powder can significantly improve the heating and aging stretching and bonding strength of the tile adhesive. When the doping is 2.0%,the thermal aging tensile bonding strength reaches 1.16 MPa.The incorporation of cellulose ether can significantly improve the water retention of mortar, and the recommended dosage is 0.15%~0.25%.
