Abstract：Thermal insulation mortar is widely used in building thermal insulation internal and external wall materials,thermal insulation storage can be effective energy saving and emission reduction,the development of thermal insulation materials provides idea for the development of zero-energy building.Aggregate is an important part of the thermal insulation mortar,in which it plays the role of the skeleton,the mechanical and thermal properties of the aggregate will also have an impact on the performance of the thermal insulation mortar,it is vital to control the performance of the thermal insulation mortar through the composite or modification of different aggregates.This paper introduces the classification and application areas of the thermal insulation mortar,discusses the impact of the nature of the aggregates on the performance of the thermal insulation mortar,and analyses the research progress of thermal insulation mortar with different aggregate.
