Abstract:The modified MOS inorganic glue connection with inorganic glue composite bamboo was composed of composite connection structure, and the effects of six connection forms, two colloid types, and two glue layer thicknesses on the load carrying capacity of the inorganic glue composite bamboo steel filler plate connection were discussed. The results show that the organic glue mixed connection is the most effective, and the modified MOS inorganic glue pure colloid connection is the worst.Increasing the thickness of the adhesive layer resulted in a slight decrease in peak load and a slight increase in ductility for the same connection form. The design equations in Eurocode 5 provide a better prediction of the load carrying capacity of bolted versus colloidal forms of connection, but the prediction of the latter is not as accurate, with a deviation of up to 14.9%.
