Abstract:Portland cement and blast furnace slag were used as raw materials,PDMS as hydrophobic agent, and silica fume as reinforcing material to study the effect of silica fume content on the hydrophobicity and durability of modified cement-slag compos-ites.The experimental results show that when the silica fume content is 4%,the compressive strength of the sample is significant-ly improved, and the compressive strength can reach 18.33 MPa at 28 days, which is 24.0%higher than that of the blank group, and the sample has strong freeze-thaw resistance and sulfate erosion resistance. The experimental results of waterproof performance show that the static contact angle of the surface of the specimen reaches 114°,and the contact angle of the fracture surface reach-es 134°,the contact angle is not affected by the incorporation of silica fume, and the water absorption rate of the sample decreases with the increase of silica fume content.SEM images show that the microstructure of the specimen with silica fume is denser.
