Abstract:In order to optimize the properties of aluminate cements(CAC),investigate the effects of sodium sulfate and calcium sulfate on setting time and compressive strength of cements, respectively, were investigated.Testing techniques such as XRD,TG-DTG,SEM and LF-NMR were employed to analyze the influence mechanism. The results showed that with the increase of sodium sulfate and calcium sulfate dosing, the initial and final setting time was first shortened and then prolonged,3d and 28 d compressive strength first increased and then decreased, respectively.Compared with the blank sample, when the dosage of calcium sulfate is 1.0%,the initial and final setting time of the CAC paste was shortened by 37.0%and 49.0%,respectively.The 3 and 28 d compressive strength of CAC reached the maximum value of 10.3%,20.2%,and 70.4%,43.7%respectively when the dosage of sodium sulfate and calcium sulfate was 1.0%respectively.Microscopic tests showed that when the dosage of sodium sulfate and calcium sulfate was 1.0%,it promoted the generation of calcite, thus optimizing the hydrated products and pore structure of aluminate cement.
