Study on influencing factors of properties of polymer cement waterproof mortar

Abstract：The influence of different hydrophobic materials on the water absorption rate of benchmark adhesive sand and poly-mer cement waterproof mortar,the relationship between mechanical properties and water absorption rate,and the factors affecting bond strength were studied.The results show that the effect of different types and different quality of hydrophobic materials on re-ducing water absorption of mortar is different,and the effect of food grade calcium stearate is the best.The higher the compressive strength of the polymer cement waterproof mortar,the lower the water absorption rate of the test block,and the water absorption rate will be further reduced under the same strength when the water-repellent material is added.The influencing factors of bond-ing properties of polymer cement waterproof mortar are as follows:base surface roughness＞slurry state(mortar consistency)＞redis-persible emulsion powder content.
