The finite element analysis of out-of-plane seismic performance of reinforced concrete shear wall
QIN Shijie
Abstract:The effects of concrete strength, axial compression ratio and longitudinal reinforcement ratio on the seismic perfor-mance of reinforced concrete shear walls under out-of-face loading were investigated, and a seismic analysis model was established through ABAQUS to conduct low-cycle loading tests in the out-of-face direction and to carry out finite element parametric analy-sis.The test results show that the closed area of the out-of-face hysteresis curve is small, the residual deformation is large, and the energy dissipation is poor.Compared with C30 concrete, bearing capacity of concrete with strength class of C40,C50 increased by 5.7%,37.6%respectively.The longitudinal reinforcement ratio of 1.2%and 1.6%increased the load capacity by 28.2%and 66.7%respectively compared with 0.8%.The axial compression ratios of 0.4 and 0.6 increased by 11.4%and 22.9%,respectively,com-pared with 0.2,but the stiffness of the shear wall degraded faster under high axial compression ratios, and the seismic performance of the shear wall decreased.
