Effect of VAE lotion on the performance of barite sand plastering sound insulation mortar

Abstract：The effects of VAE lotion on the consistency,water retention rate,dry apparent density,compressive strength,flexural strength,flexural compression ratio,tensile bond strength and air acoustic weight insulation of barite sand plastering sound insulation mortar were studied.The results show that with the increase of the content of VAE lotion,the consistency of plastering sound in-sulation mortar and the weight sound insulation of air acoustometer show a trend of first increasing and then decreasing;The water retention rate,flexural strength,tensile bonding strength,and flexural compression ratio of plastering sound insulation mortar show a gradually increasing trend;The dry apparent density and compressive strength of plastering sound insulation mortar show a gradually decreasing trend.When the content of VAE lotion is 6％,the sound insulation reaches the maximum of 44 dB,which is 2 dB higher than that of mortar without VAE lotion.
