Abstract:The influence of fly ash replacement rate(equivalent mass replacement cement)on the carbonation resistance and internal microstructure evolution of cement mortar in an accelerated carbonation environment was studied by using compressive strength, carbonization depth,X-ray diffraction(XRD),scanning electron microscope(SEM)and fourier transform infrared spectrometer(FTIR).The results showed that the carbonation depth of cement mortar samples significantly deepened with the increase of fly ash substitution rate, and the carbonation resistance gradually decreased with the extension of carbonation age and the increase of fly ash substitution rate. After carbonization, the content of Ca(OH)2 decreased significantly, and ettringite disappeared, and calcite and vaterite were formed. The CaCO3 microcrystals produced by carbonization can play a certain filling role to make the microstructure of the slurry more dense.
