Abstract:Energy optimization in existing building renewal is a complex systems engineering project. The synergistic application of multi-dimensional energy strategies and post-construction monitoring and evaluation are effective methods to ensure energy conservation and emission reduction goals. This study comprehensively analyzes the low-cost renewal construction project of a Kindergarten in Wismar Germany as a case study.Under the premise of fully retaining the original building structure, multiple energy measures including adjusting the form factor, constructing a central climate buffer zone, enhancing the thermal performance of the building envelope, and adding equipment facilities were implemented synergistically.Through long-term post-construction monitoring and evaluation, the preset goals of reducing building energy consumption and carbon dioxide emissions by over one-third have been achieved.
