Abstract:In order to evaluate the low temperature resistance of the semi-flexible pavement structure, the low temperature crack resistance test of the asphalt mixture with 28% porosity was prepared by combining five different mineral grades with S1~S5. The fractal dimension of asphalt mixture was established, and the regression relationship between splitting strength, breaking tensile strain and stiffness modulus was established according to the results of low temperature crack resistance test of asphalt mixture. The results show that the fractal dimension of five different mineral gradients has a certain linear correlation. The splitting strength and failure tensile stress of the semi-rigid materials increases first and then reduces with the change of the aggregate group. The stiffness modulus first decreases and then increases with the change of the aggregate group. Based on the regression formula pro-posed in this paper, the low temperature crack resistance of matrix asphalt mixture with 28% porosity prepared by combining five different mineral grades can be predicted.
