Research on preparation technology for concrete of the artificial island tunnel of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge

Abstract：Based on the design require ments for concrete of the artificial island tunnel of Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, which were of low permeability,high resistance crack and long service life,high performance concrete was prepared by using low wa-ter-binder ratio,high volume mineral admixtures. Influences of water-binder ratio,cementitious material consumption and their compo-sition on workability,strength,durability and volume stability were analyzed. The concrete mix proportion of concrete that satisfies the performance requirements of the artificial island tunnel is preferably selected to reduce the risk of tunnel concrete cracking.
