Abstract:This text studied the influence of silica fume and polymer fiber, both when single use and mixed use, played on new and old concrete bonding properties by testing the splitting tensile strength, flexural strength and shearing strength of new and old concrete. And the bonding mechanism of silica fume and polymer fiber performed for old and new concrete was analyzed also. The research data indicates that when the silica fume content takes up 9% of the cementitious materials, the polymer fiber content is 0.6 kg/m3,when at 28 d,the concrete bonding splitting tensile strength is 2.36 MPa,the flexural strength is 5.79 MPa and the shear strength is 5.11 MPa,at which stage the bonding effect of old and the new concrete reaches its best. Silica fume polymer fiber patch interface agent is suitable for concrete structure repair.
