Experiment study on effect of types of steel fiber on dynamic mechanics properties of concrete

Abstract：Four kinds of different steel fiber type concrete were carried out dynamic mechanics properties experiment by use of SHPB experimental system. The influence of steel fiber type and orthogonal factors on the dynamic compressive strength of SFRC was discussed,and optimization analysis was carried out. The experimental result demonstrated that corrugated steel fiber is more suitable for low and middle strain rate impact cases,while bow and prismatic shaped steel fiber has more significant reinforce effect in high strain rate case. The enhanced effect of the flat-type steel fiber is reduced when strain rate is improved. Among the four kinds of different steel fiber,bow shaped steel fiber has the best improvement effect on destroyed form of the concrete.
