Research into the impact of thin layer masonry mortar on mechanics performance of B04 grade autoclaved aerated concrete masonry

Abstract：This paper studies on the impact of thin layer masonry mortar and common masonry mortar on mechanics perfor-mance of autoclaved aerated concrete masonry with B04 grade and analyzes the mechanism of action. The result shows that com-pared with common masonry mortar,higher water retention capacity of masonry mortar increasing the adhesive capability between mortar joint and masonry by forming hydration products in the block pore,and improving axial compressive strength of the masonry and straight joint shear strength.
