Abstract:Using the lake sediment and biogas residue as the main raw material, and then by adding Fe2O3powder to the lake sediments to prepare a kind of high-performance ceramsite that meets light porosity, and the effects of sintering temperature, holding time and the content of Fe2O3on the ceramic-related properties are discussed. The results show that when the content of Fe2O3is 1%,sintering temperature is 1175℃ and holding time is 30 min,the apparent density of ceramsite is 978.98 kg/m3,the bulk density is 489.49 kg/m3,the water absorption in 1h is 3.73%,the water absorption in 24 h is 4.52%. The addition of Fe2O3can effectively improve the pore structure of the ceramsite, and the ceramsite prepared can better meet the engineering and practical applications.
