Abstract:The double tailings foamed cement was prepared with the vanadium tailings and the molybdenum tailings of Shangluo by using the single factor method. The dry density, flexural strength, compressive strength and other properties of the foamed cement were measured. The influence of the amount of tailings and the time of mixing milling on the morphology and me-chanical properties of the foamed cement were studied. The results show that the foaming capacity gradually increased with the in-creasing of vanadium tailings dosage, while the bubble diameter decreased firstly and then increased. The average bubble diameter is minimum when 18% of the vanadium tailings and 3% of the molybdenum tailings were mixed. The maximum compressive strength and flexural strength were 0.609 MPa and 0.511 MPa,respectively. The minimum dry density was 0.291 g/cm3. The best comprehensive properties of the foamed cement were obtained when the ball milling time is 20~27 min.
