Experimental study on shear performance of open-ended new type compound insulation concrete block masonry

Abstract：New insulation bearing block can replace the use of common clay brick. The experimental study of shear strength is carried out by 8 groups(72 shear specimens)of open-ended new type compound insulation concrete block masonry. On the ba-sis of experiment,the influence of the thin layer of mortar and the pin key,as well as the external thermal insulation layer of ex-ternal wall block on shear performance of the specimens were analyzed,which provided reference for the popularization and appli-cation of the new insulation block.
