Experimental study on mechanical properties of high performance steel fiber and polypropylene fiber concrete

Abstract：The effects of different content of steel fiber and polypropylene fiber on the compressive strength and splitting ten-sile strength of HPC were contrasted. The mechanical properties changes of steel and polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete were analyzed. The results show that reasonable amount of fiber can increase the compressive and splitting tensile strength of HPC,espe-cially for splitting tensile strength. Finally,according to the test results,the formula of compressive and splitting tensile strength of HPC with steel and polypropylene fiber is proposed.
