Abstract:The influence of the contents of micro carbon ferrochrome powder, sand, fiber, the fineness of sand and the curing condition of reactive powder concrete(RPC)on its mechanical properties has been studied. The results show that the mechanical properties of RPC decrease with the increase of the content of micro carbon ferrochrome powder. The strength of RPC is still above 60 MPa when the content of micro carbon ferrochrome powder accounted for nearly 120% of total gelled material. The strength of RPC decreases with the maximum particle size of sand decreasing, and increases first and decreases with the dosage increase of sand and fiber, the optimal sand/cement ratio is 2.0,the optimal volume of steel fiber is 2% that of RPC. Among the strengths of RPC cured by different methods, the best is in 90℃ water, next is standard curing and lowest in natural condition in-door.
